Ticket Purchases

Tickets purchased for the Black Achievers Awards are non-refundable. However, they are transferable. If a ticket has been transferred to a different person, please contact the organisation to update the named individual who will attend the event and any dietary requirements that we need to be aware of. 

If you would like to be seated together, please email us as soon as you purchase your ticket. We will be unable to seat people together if we are not notified sooner rather than later. Cut off dates for this will depend on when tickets were purchased. So we encourage that tickets are purchased in close proximity of each other.

Group Nominations

In the case of group nominations, only two persons from the nominated group will be allowed to attend the event for free. All other members will need to purchase their tickets, but they can all be seated on the same table if we are told in advance.

Judging Process

Members of the Black Achievers Award are not involved in the judging process as this would amount to conflicts of interest. The judging will be conducted by the sponsors of each category.

Privacy and Data Usage

Nominees and nominators information will be used solely for contact purposes only. Any other use of this information will require your explicit consent.

Disqualification

Nominations that do not meet the criteria will be disqualified. For example, if a nomination falls well below the required word count needed for the judging panel to make a decision, it will be disqualified. Please check your nominations before sending them in.
